My Best Friend’s little sister is getting married and I am lucky enough to floral all of her events. This afternoon tea consisted of tea, flowers, games, lollies and a beautiful dog named Lady blocking the door way…all day.
‘Y O U N G’ is a shoot inspired by the song ‘Young’ by Vallis Alps. As I listened to the song with the line “in my hair were winter flowers” I was inspired to imagine the visual aspects of this song. From that, I then decided to bring my imagination to life. With hair flowers that I designed and my main girl Michelle, everything I had imagined in my mind was captured through the eyes of Kate from Gaia Photography. She beautifully captured the essence of youthfulness and whimsical nature in Michelle and tells a beautiful story.

A sneak peek into my little workshop through the eyes of my beautiful friend Laura Koutnik (Pictures On Paper) With a combination of some beautiful blooms, a work bench handmade by my Dad and wooden box shelving. I hope you enjoy your virtual visit in my workshop!
This stunning girl is becoming a feature of Willow Flowers shoots lately so I’ve decided to adopt her as my Floral Face. Here are some more shots of her doing her natural beauty thing. Wearing a bush crown made from nature by Willow Flowers and holding a posy of home grown garden roses.

This is my sister Alison. Next week she will be leaving the nest and moving to Redding in California. I will miss having her around lots and lots and lots but I know that the 9 months she is away are going to be GOOD! I love you Ali.
My good friend Michelle is so much fun to photograph. Put a bunch of flowers in her hands and this is what happened. We even had some cows join in the fun. They were extremely fascinated by us… Photos taken in Castlereagh, NSW by me.
